Tantra in Davenport

I call this special restaurant from time to time since I love the good air that is characterizes this restaurant. The staff is exceptionally loyal and skilfull. The service is exceptionally fast. Not to mention, the food they prepare is excellent. I ate there many times and I was always pleased. The rate is honest. I highly suggest this place to to everybody.

Great service and great food! Loved sitting out door and hanging out with my family. The food was delicious. I had a bite of all of our dishes and everything kept getting better and better! I have the seafood combo. It has a bit of a kick but i love that type of this. The white rice helped if it was a little too spicy. The tempura green beans for dessert was 5 stars as well! Highly recommend

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always amazing, and there are so many options. The wait staff and hosts are very attentive and nice. Service is quick and friendly. One suggestion I have would be bigger appetizer servings for large groups.

So glad Tantra is still open with all that is going on! Food amazing, staff is always friendly! Just have to go around the block to get there with the construction. And I have to say there orders are always right. Never have to check the bag make sure its right cause I know it already is.

Love this place! My favorite Asian restaurant! Excellent food,service,& ambiance!

So good. So very good. I could eat their food every day. The Panang curry is my favorite so far.Tom Ka Gai soup is also super good and flavorful. I dream about their food in between visits. It's my favorite place to visit in Davenport. Why this place isn't busier all the time I do not know.

To be fair, Asian food is not my favorite, and I only go with a larger group (8-10). If you go in smaller groups, it may be okay. Invariably, everyone gets served somewhat timely except for one person who waits 10+ minutes. After a half dozen visits, I may have gotten hot food once. At the last visit we sat at the bar while waiting for the rest of the group. My friend ordered scotch and we ordered a bottle of wine. I was served a glass of wine at the bar, but when asked for the third time to bring the bottle to the table the server brought an unopened bottle and tried charging for an individual glass and the bottle. We had originally ordered the bottle with one glass with the second glass to be brought to the table. I've also seen them charge sales tax on the entire bill including gratuity. I don't know if these are honest mistakes, but l suspect orherwise. I only visit because the birthday boy gets to choose.

Absolutely love this place! Food wise I have not had a bad meal and I’ve tried a few different things now. Always delicious and flavorful. My only request is that management install at least one baby changing table in at least the women’s restroom. Obviously it’s more of an adult restaurant but when I was there last weekend I was actually not the only gal in there with a baby. My 6 mo decided she wanted to do her business before the meal was served and trying to change a messy diaper was ridiculous. I had to lay her on a chair in the restroom and hope she didn’t roll onto the floor as I grabbed a couple more wipes. Install a changing table and you can have all the stars you want!

Had an awesome experience today at tantra bistro. The service was quick and the food was magnificent. The atmosphere was very calming and mellow. I had the crying tiger and my date had mango chicken. Both excellent dishes i would reccomend. I rate this place 10-10

So delicious! Ordered chicken satay and pineapple chicken fried rice. everything came fresh and hot, played it beautifully. I had to buy another appetizer to take home for my husband to try. He also thought it was delicious. Will come again.

Our first experience to Tantra was wonderful! The appetizer, entrees, drinks and atmosphere were absolutely perfect for a nice dinner to share with family and friends! Service was impeccable and I really enjoyed the dish that our server suggested (Spicy Basil Noodle w/Grouper)! We will be back! I'm sorry to have discovered this amazing restaurant so late!

We go here frequently because the food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. We like the Teriyaki Mango chicken and the Tempura Green Bean appetizer. But our favorite feature about Tantra is that you can bring in our own WINE (that they don't carry). A great place to eat! Whether venturing for lunch or dinner, Tantra is a fantastic dining spot in the QC. Food is tasty, the staff is friendly, drinks are delicious and the ambiance is great. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality meal.

For Appetizers: we ordered the dim sum and the tempura green beans. Both were so good! The dim sum were steamed and had shrimp. I wish they gave you more than four. The tempura green beans was a good portion and the sauce is amazing! For Entrée: I had a creamy curry dish that was really good and slightly spicy. There was curry and very thin noodles with cabbage on top.

Whether venturing for lunch or dinner, Tantra is a fantastic dining spot in the QC. Food is tasty, the staff is friendly, drinks are delicious and the ambiance is great. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality meal.

Super duper yummy. Great Thai tea. Hot and sour soup was a little odd, but not bad.

We had the grouper with basil and rice noodles and the grilled lamb chops with a unique sauce for the lamb ... a hot pepper raspberry chipotle sauce. It was excellent. On the noodle fish dish the grouper were lightly breaded and served with a sweet spicy sauce. 2 well prepared entrees and great service. The meal arrived quickly in spite of the fact that Tantra seemed to be understaffed. We'll be back for sure.

Food was ok, presentation was great, staff was a little slow on getting stuff out to you. But as far as food options in the area I would pick this location.

The atmosphere is very romantic and perfect for a dinner date. The lettuce cups are packed with flavor and you can't go wrong with the fried rice. They have a large variety of dishes that makes it seem like there is something for everyone. From fried rice to seafood to Korean ribs. Their cocktails are delicious and their sake is a nice change of pace from what you can get at most other restaurants.

Always amazing to eat at! And they can even cater if you are vegetarian or vegan! Omg still thinking about my meal which was a spicy stir fry basil dish! And now craving for more! The crispy lettuce tofu cups were delicious too! Wish they had a vegan dessert but beggars can't be choosers! Overall very happy!

By QC-standards, the Asian fusion dishes at Tantra are absolutely magnificent. Their menu has a great mix of Chinese, Thai and Indian cuisine. The atmosphere is amazing and the prices on the menu are unbeatable (especially if you're a college student on a budget wanting to celebrate a special occasion).At Tantra you can get great food and great service for less than $15 per person!

Very tasty food!! Wife and I are new to the quad city's from MSP and heard good things about this Asian restaurant. Decided to follow a coworker high recommendation on ordering the egg rolls, the summer rolls, special menu items, pumpkin curry, and the salmon pad thai. 👌Overall, food was good but not amazing however was told I NEED TO TRY the pineapple fried rice 🍍Establishment was super clean and classy, parking was convenient, food was decent however wait time was longer than I would have like. 4 out of 5 ⭐

I happened upon this restaurant by accident and what a happy one it was. Flavorful food and decent sake. If you're in the mood for interesting Asian cuisine, give it a try.

Food was fabulous, and service was great!

Doing social distancing dine-in, which is great. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Service was swamped, they seem understaffed in the front of house, and while our waitress brought out our drinks and appetizers quickly, my main course 25 minutes later we had to ask because the waitress hadn't returned with it. Luckily it came out right away, and treated fantastic. My Chinese wife said the Shangri Khing (sp?) with pork had the real taste of Asian stir fry. We were impressed. Hope they are better staffed soon for Friday nights, we'll definitely return again!

The meals and service were beyond our expectations. We really loved the environment of this place. First-rate place to take my family out for dinner.
